Dr. Thauna Abrin grew up in Hawaii on the North Shore of O’ahu. At age 16, she moved to California where she later completed her undergraduate studies. Dr. Thauna worked as a medical and surgical assistant in the field of women’s health before receiving her N.D. (Doctor of Naturopathy) degree from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon. At NCNM, Dr. Thauna took advanced training in herbal medicine, homeopathy, obstetrics and gynecology, receiving her Obstetrics Certificate in 2002. She is a hormone expert, having received advanced training in Bioidentical hormones from A4M and the Institute for Women’s Health.
Dr. Thauna is a primary care doctor specializing in women’s health and chronic disease. Her preconception program incorporates whole food nutrition and toxin cleansing to help nourish a healthy pregnancy and baby. Her menopause program supports both peri-menopausal and post-menopausal women during this life transition . She is committed to helping improve the lives of teenagers and adults with lyme disease with herbal medicine and homeopathy.
Dr. Thauna is passionate about educating her patients about self-care. She regularly teaches wellness classes and workshops to enhance the health and vitality of her patients. She is dedicated to treating the individual, creating a customized wellness plan for each and every patient.
